Hard to believe how long it took me to learn these behaviors
Save a boyfriend for a rainy day — and another, in case it doesn’t rain. — Mae West
#1: Keep the First Date Short.
This one is nearly impossible for me, especially if things are going well. I want the night to go on forever and may try to make that come true. Usually sending the prospective partner practically running out of the car for her front door.
#2: Keep your Hands off on the Way to Dinner.
Trying to bypass first or second base going for third while driving to dinner could be moving too fast. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the perfume for now. First base should likely wait until another day as well.
#3: Good Hygiene Rocks, Smell Good.
On date night I may shave again and take a second bath, scrubbing a little extra. Then adding some almond oil to smooth my already silky skin. I want there to be a memorable impression if we embrace. Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
#4: Talk Half as Much as Your Date.
Before the date I commit myself to a lot of nodding and smiling. Throwing in a couple “I know Right” statements for good measure. Ahhuh and Mmhu sounds along with a well placed “Yes, I know what you mean” can go a long way.
#5: End the Night with Endearing Wit, not a Slobbery French Kiss.
Thank your partner for the opportunity to meet, if you want another date, before saying good night you could say, “Is there a way to get more of you?” This one works every-time, well OK, almost every-time. Let’s just put it this way, no one ever said no to that!
Until next time! Cheers, Christopher.
